Abstract

The roots of Hellenistic civilization, that is, the cultural interaction between East and West, extend back to ancient times. Those roots were destined to grow, blossom, and bear fruit very quickly when the appropriate climate was created for them under a single global empire whose initial borders were drawn by Alexander the Great with Macedonian and Greek swords. Then the scholars, philosophers, artists, translators, and others continued to work on building the edifice of a new civilization in its color, authentic in its elements, so he came. Contemporary historians announced the beginning of a new civilization in its form and content called the Hellenistic civilization.

This is what Alexander did. He wanted to achieve this because of his global tendency and his call to establish an interconnected global unity in terms of the intermingling, cohesion, and unity of peoples. His goal was to unite the world through his military campaigns that struck all parts of the world in that difficult period, from the division of peoples and the lack of... Its harmony with its land and its beliefs.
