The kingdom of Ugarit among archaeological discoveries and the Old Testament.

the research deals with the importance of the discovery of the kingdom of Ugarit and royal archive, and unique information it provided that excited researchers, so they conducted comparative studies between its texts and the texts of the Bible, when they saw – according to their claim – a similarity to their holy book, which led them to historical assumptions that had no connection to the truth, as they claimed through that an extension of their kingdom north to the kingdom of Ugarit.

The research presents the similarities assumed by Old Testament historians, and shows that they are incorrect, based on archaeological evidence, comparative study, and scientific analysis.

One of the most important findings of the research was the categorical confirmation that what they claimed was incorrect, and that the Ugaritic civilization is an authentic Canaanite civilization that has no connection to the kingdoms of Judah and samaria.
